About Birth control.?

with seasonique, you have just 4 periods a year. each period last about one week. for completeI would like to know about anyone who has taken Seasonique. Does it really give you a period ever 12 weeks?? I have been on a birth control before so I know some side effects but is there any extra with that pill? any personal stories are appreciated.
