i just got my braces off and i want to whiten my teeth, but the ortohdontist put a permanent retainer behind my bottom 6 front teeth. will the chemicals in the whitener loosen the glue and cause my retainer to fall out?

nope. it will be fine. Just dont put any directly on the retainer. If some gets on there..no big deal. but go for it! =)

Yes you can wither have custom bleaching trays made, which will allow space for the fixed retainers so they will git right over the retainers, or you can have in office Zoom bleaching. This option takes about 1 1/2 hour and is sometime expensive but defiantly gives the best results. Good Luck
