Do increased headaches many years after a traumatic brain injury spell bad news?

I'd be surprised if it menopause at her age - fair go - women are not old at late 30s. I would, however be urging her to see a doctor instantly if not sooner if she wants to live long enough to enjoy the dubious pleasures of menopause. It may just be environmental factors, but with her medical history she should always err on the side of caution.

She really needs to be seen by a Dr. I am 36 years old and menopause is a long way in my future!! Vomit ting and pain are usually a sign of something serious. I have a brain tumor -- it was removed once about 8 years ago and recently started growing back. I am closely monitored by annual MRI's and follow ups to a neurologist as well as a neurosurgeon. Your friend really must go to a neurologist and demand an MRI as a follow up. This will just help see what is there. I am surprised that she does not see a Dr. on a regular basis for this. It is my understanding that you get headaches when you decrease your caffeine intake. Vomit ting and nausea are definite signs of migraines. Does she get aura's? (That is when just before the headache she might experience vision changes, With mine, it is though I am looking into the sun, or there are wavy lines in my vision.)
PLEASE have her see a DR. this really sounds as though it should be taken care of right away.
My prayers will be with her. And you are such a thoughtful friend looking out for her well being!
Take Care-

I'd never ignore severe head aches after my dad died of a brain tumour. He'd treated his head aches lightly for years and his GP treated him for migraine for about 15 years. He didn't have a scan until it was too late. Your friend probably doesn't have anything as serious, but best to see a GP to make sure. Better safe than sorry is a very good phrase!

If I were this person I would visit my Dr. I suffer from migraines, and my Dr. prescribed medication to help relieve the pain. If I would start to have more than 6 migraines a month she was going to put me on a preventative medication. She should discuss with the doctor all of her symptoms. I have a migraine diary and kept track of foods, weather, hormones, and anything out of the usual.

She also should be checked for cancer, and other potential problems.
