The truth is that no product will make repair your hair. But there are little lifestyle tweaks you can make that will cause your hair to grow faster, be healthier, shinier, and softer. First and foremost: are you taking a multivitamin? Make sure that you are taking a multivitamin like Women's One a Day (even if you are a teen) to nourish your hair cells so that they grow faster. You can even take a trip to a health food store like Whole Foods and pick up a vitamin B supplement which is good for hair, skin, and nails.

Secondly, try not to heat style too much. Never blow dry, and use heat tools only occasionally, not everyday. Just until you grow your hair out more, make a goal to use them at most a few times a week. Use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners (the new dove moisture is great) and just barely rinse out the conditioner with cold water (makes hair shinier). Use a leave in conditioner after showering on damp hair and use a dab of serum, too. Always use heat protectant before styling.

Please, please, please, get a haircut before you start to repair your hair. The damage has already been done. Get a 1/2 inch trim every 2-3 months to keep it healthy.

i'm not sure if multi vitamins help but i do know for sure that pre natal vitamins do wonders for your hair and your nails. if this is not working, try a vitamin enriched conditioner for dry and damaged hair types or a hair mask. they also sell flat iron spray that is supposed to help against damages that are made from it. and if this still doesnt work i suggest that you stop straightining your hair and possibly if you do... idk.... take a break from dying it. and about the hair tye thing, try using a scruncchi or if your hair is like mine and just won't stay up in one try putting the hair tye a little looser in your hair.
