Do you prefer herbalist s shop to chemist s one?

I prefer herbalist's products concerning body care as shampoo, shower gel and so on... But I think is quite different if we talk about dietary supplement ecc. Lots of times people think that natural products can't have side-effects, but plant and natural extract can be even toxic if you abuse! What do you prefer so? herbalist's or chemist's shop? And why?

I've always been a big fan of anything organic. I think they're more effective and more good for the body. I love the mother earth's good grow of plants and which are truly helpful. And some of it are way cheaper than the chemical drugs. As much as possible for me, I'd stay with the organic, but I'm sure chemical drugs can be useful. I actually take herbal supplement made of taheebo extracts, which I think I get a good effect from it. It makes me more what I can do for a day, so it's more like an energy booster for me.

Great! I discovered organic products just a few years ago and i'm absolutely satisfy :) you know, eccess is always bad and some friends of mine use to take too much product from herbalist's shop and sometimes they risk to be ill :( when you know something is good for you it's a great thing! i can't recognize the effect on my body maybe 'cause they're not so strong... so I only use tea and natural drinks that makes me feel fine, refreshed and sate :) expecially in summertime :)

Everything that i use is from the health food store...body care, cleaning products, and all the supplements that i take, also all the food that i buy is organic. I do not trust anything that is made by a chemist, and stay away from those products as much as possible.

Hi Zizza, Good topic. Generally all the peoples are liked herbal products because of it's less side effects than the chemical products. When we are going to take some types of products likes shampoo and other related products, we prefer to go to herbal shop. All the herbal care products also contains active ingredients is called alkaloids, tincture, etc., which is the one to give the pharmacological action. But in the case of side effects , I have informed in many articles that we should use anything with limited dosages and should not be used more than that recommended dosages. If you are going to use more than normal dosage then it always brings more side effects whether if it is Herbal or Chemical. I am going to choose whether herbal or chemist shop ? it depends upon the services or products I wanted. If I have some headache I am sure to go to Chemist shop to take Tylenol for my headache and will not go to herbal shop to take some thing herbal to wait 1 or 2 days for the treatments. But at the same time if I want to get good shampoo and soap then I will prefer to go to Herbal shop to choose best herbal shampoo instead of chemical one. Have a great day. Best of luck.
