Flat ironing Hair After rebonding hair treatment (Japanese Straightening)?

Postby redamann » Wed Aug 11, 2010 4:45 am

Ok, so I got my hair rebonded last Saturday,
and it looked and felt great
I was told not to wash my hair for 3 days, so I didn't.
I decided to wait another few days before I did anything to my hair, so I washed my hair on the weekend (yesterday).

Now, when I wet my hair, everything seemed, fine, but when it dried, it had gained a little more volume, and kind of got frizzy at the ends and what not. Simply, it wasn't what it looked like before. Only the inner layers of my hair seemed to stay smooth and as straight as before.
WOULD IT BE SAFE TO FLAT IRON PARTS OF IT? ANY OTHER OPTIONS?
