Hair is in excellent condition, but really frizzy!?

Postby eckerd » Fri Aug 13, 2010 7:50 am

I started growing my hair a year or two ago, it used to be in quite bad condition but now it is in amazing condition, really shiny, smooth and healthy according to my hair dresser.

The problem is, my hair is naturally really frizzy which completely messes up my straight and choppy look. I need some advice on how to make it less frizzy without losing the good condition it is in, I don't really want to buy any specialist hair products, because I've basically tried everything.

I once tried a tip I found on here which was to use olive oil on it, this worked perfectly but leaved it very greasy, as in my hand got wet if I touched it, not sure whether I applied the correct amount, I basically smeared it all over my hair, left it in for a few minutes and DID thoroughly wash it out.

I straighten my hair after washing it, the length is roughly up to the bottom of my neck at the back, my hair is also quite thick too.

Any help would be appreciated, sorry for the block wall of text, just want to give full info xD

Dude! first, your sounds super cute! And i have the same problem! When i straighten my hair, i use "Flat Iron sheer silky smooth heat memory flat iron spray" Idk, you can find it at Wal-Mart. The bottle is Purple, and it has a Silver top, but the sprayer pressy thing is purple. But after straightening my hair, i spray some in my hand, rub my hands together, and run it down my hair or flaten it? But i take my hands, place them on the top of my head, and go down my hair. Then i do the back the same way. It works really good fer me, but yea. Hopefully it works for you! ^-^
