So about three weeks ago I gave a guy a ******** and I think a few days later this mark appeared on the right side of my mouth. It was like dry skin and then I would peel at it so now its like dead skin (it's not that big, but its noticeable). So my question is, is this herpes? Or just dry skin that has turned into this from picking at it? And if you think its herpes, is it oral herpes? Is that a big deal?

Cold sore from the herpes virus. Don't worry about it though. Approximately 90% of adult americans have it. Most contracted it when they were kids (kissing aunts, etc.). You may be one of the few that have the genital variety (type II) on your mouth.
