How can I treat an eyebrow wax burn?

Postby keri39 » Thu Aug 05, 2010 11:50 pm

-I put milk on my eyelids (made the swelling go down a little and the redness went away)
-I but Vitamin E cream on them
-I but lotion with menthol on them (for a cooling effect)
-I put a natural skin cream on that reduces flakes and redness on my eyelids

Is there anything else I can do to get rid of the swelling?

There are many ways to stop irritation from waxing. Jojoba oil is natural and gentle to stop irritation and redness, unlike vitamin E, it has antibacterial effects that stop the spreading of bacteria. You can also try pure organic honey. Honey is anti-inflammatory and will moisturize your skin without harming it and it will take the swelling down. You can also try chamomile tea and wait until cool and apply it to the irritated area. I use to try it when I had really bad acne and it took the redness away. One other thing you can try is eye drops, but a very small amount.
