Today I was playing with my american girl doll. I made a poster with marker and it wasn't dry yet. I suddenly dropped my American Girl doll onto the poster. When I picked it up, the doll had lines like scars right around the eye area. I used GooGone spray, nail polish remover, and some of my deodorant. It didn't work much but the paint on the eyelid was half gone. I thought of sending it to the doll hospital. Any suggestions to remove the marks?

A little bit of rubbing alcohol, dabbed with a cotton swab or tissue, often takes marker off if it hasn't set too long yet. Give that a try. Don't scrub, just dab it a little. If you can not find anything that works, the doll hospital may be your best bet.

hi, try rubbing alcohol on it, the disinfectants in it should clean your doll, hope this helps <=]

The way I remove ink and marker stains from vinyl dolls is buy some Oxy pimple cream with 10% Benzoil peroxide. Use a toothpick and spread it only on the ink. Put the doll outside in direct sunlight. It has to be at least 80 degrees or hotter to work. Leave it out there a couple hours then wipe off the cream. The ink should be gone. If there was any left you can do it again the next day. I have removed ink that has been on a doll 50 years that way.

I dont know what to tell you about the eyelid paint but mr. clean magic erser will get it off. (DON"T get water in her eyes though)
