How do I put on the trublend covergirl foundation so it's not cakey looking?

Well, I have the trublend covergirl foundation, and the trublend powder. When I put it on, it looks really cakey and powdery, and not natural. Is there any special way to put it on? Or should I just get new makeup? :/

Try applying the foundation with a stippling brush. they give a natural finish.
then apply the smallest amount of powder you can with a puff.

if this doesnt look more natural then get new makeup.

I personally dont like trueblend.

Hope this was helpful.

Hi, I recommend buying the MAC 187 brush, but if it is too pricey, ecotools stippling brush works just as well & you can get it from any walmart or walgreens. & putting on your foundation with that! Brush application makes you look airbrushed, it's amazing.

If you do not like to use a brush for foundation & you use a sponge, try wetting the sponge and then ringing it out before you apply your foundation!

You could also mix a little bit of your moisturizer with the foundation as well & it looks lighter!

As far as the powder goes, I don't recommend using the crappy applicator they give you, use a nice fluffy brush to apply it! & the powder goes a long long way.

& no that particular foundation is really heavy so it's not you! I'm currently using Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse & it is amazing!! :]

Hope this helps!
