How to get rid of bags under eyes?

Postby enzo » Sun Aug 15, 2010 2:50 pm

I need some tips on how to tighten the skin under my eyes. I drink lots of water, and get plenty of sleep so I don't know why I have them. By the way I'm only 17 so it can't be age. I've don stuff like put tea bags over them, or ice cubes and stuff in the morning but i am looking for a more permanent solution to the bags, not just a quick reduction of puffiness. So if you have any tips or products that have worked for you let me know. Thanks !

Some the main reasons dark circles can occur are from lack of sleep (you should be getting 8-9hrs every night), dehydration, and age. You say you deny all of these. Other reasons can from allergies(also very comon) and it also can be just genetic.
These factors can make skin appear more pale, or skin can become weak and stretched. This allows blood vessels to be more visible through the skin, giving the appearance of bluish-green or dark circles. They tend to be more noticeable in people with fair skin or deep-set eyes.

Here is an amazing home remedy you can use...
Open a tea bag and put the contents into a blender. Add flour, honey, lemon juice and some Aloe cream. Blend until a a nice smooth-soapy mixture is created. Message this remedy under your eye, and leave it until the flour begins to harden (should take 10minutes at the most). Wash off with warm water. Next, add these three oils/creams

Vitamin A: Is an antioxidant, helping to protect cells. It helps strengthen the skin and repair tissues.

Vitamin E: an antioxidant that plays a vital role in protecting skin cells from elements that damage cells. Vitamin E also prevents water loss from the skin and helps to retain its natural moisture. Thus, it makes dull, dry skin look healthy and moisturized. When used for the purpose of deep pores cleansing of dry skin, it helps to sustain the skin's oil balance.

Vitamin C: It stimulates the growth of collagen. Collagen is the substance that gives structure and strength to your skin.

I know you said tea bags didn't work for you, but i may have been because you didn't use anything else with them.

If you have any question or are interested in any other home remedies, feel free to email me :)

Hope i helped

I use Garnier Fructis Anti-Puff eye roller. It's quick, easy, and works so well!
It gets rid of puffiness and dark circles and I keep it in my purse because it's convenient. The results are instant. I use it everyday!
