So, i have this rash on the both sides of my armpit. its not where i would put deodorant one, but just a little off to the side. the weird thing is, is that it hapend right away last night at about 12 midnight. its very red, and one is bigger than the other. it only itches when i scratch it. but other than that it is SO iirritatingand im worried.

See your doctor and in the mean time put some cream like e 45 or savlon on it to stop it itching.

I don't think that's it's a big deal, so you shouldn't worry or stress about it.


If it doesn't go away in a week I think that you should see a dermatologist and ask for professional advice there.

Please follow this: Do not go to school or work - go right to your physician. You need to get that treated right away - don't put shirts you have worn with your other laundry, bag it separate.

Did you wear a shirt where the hem touches that part of your arm? maybe there's latex or something in the material that irritates your arm.

Did you do any sort of activity that made your shirt or arms rub the spot. Perhaps it is your deodorant, and it happened to irritate that particular part of skin.

Wash the area gently with mild soap and warm water. Let dry and apply a healing lotion that does not have scent to sooth the area. You can certainly see your doctor about it if it doesn't go away, or comes back.
