i left all that sort of stuff in my suit case when i went to italy but they only check your handbags for stuff like that so you should be fine.

Put everything in your suitcase that is liquid or spray, or gel.
Make up is ok for hand luggage but put any liquids you need (tiny size only (less than 50mls I think) and try not to put any in the hand luggage at all)
in a clear plastic bag in your hand luggage and pull out through security.
Moisturiser, nail varnish, mascara - these are all liquids.

_ Don't forget to place a hand or beach towel over your clothes and wrap all liquids in bags when you pack them and place on top - as your luggage can get banged about a lot.
You will also have a weight restriction so weigh your case before you go (look at your tickets for more info) and maybe buy smaller size bottles.
