Is 12 too young to be plastered in makeup ?

Neither of them are right. Firstly, 12 year olds shouldn’t plaster themselves in make-up. Secondly, make-up can’t cause wrinkles and bad skin in the future unless you use brands that use harmful chemicals in their products or that you don’t have a proper skin care regime to prevent wrinkles and bad skin in the first place. Make-up should be an art, not something you cake on your face and look like a clown.

At 12 years old, make-up will only make you look older, and this can cause attention from unwanted people like perverts. I am not even joking. If you wear make-up and you look good, you’ll be hit on. And at 12 years old, do you really want to get such disgusting male attention? I don’t think so.

I am proud that you have decided to stay natural, because you shouldn’t let these girls at your school influence you in any way. If they all want to look like a clown, let them. They’ll regret it in the future, trust me. You have so many years of your teenage life to come and you’ll have plenty of time to experiment with make-up. Be who you are, not what others want you to be.

Good luck :)

I don't like girls who wear lots of makeup. Sure, a little here and there is nice, but not very much.

Im 13 - i wear foundation, but enough to cover my stops and brighten my face up, i wear liquid eyeliner and pencil eyeliner, and also mascara - but its all to open up my eyes and help to make me not look tired, because i think there small, even thouhg many people have told me there not, but heyyy.

You shouldnt start wearing make up because people say your a loser - i got into it because my sisters who are older than me wore it so i picked it up and started wearing mascara in year 6.
The teachers right - it can make your skin worse- especially if you dont clean it ALL off, of a night.

Mmkay, the teacher is definitely right. 12-year-olds that wear makeup are very uncomfortable with what they really look like, and they only become more uncomfortable over time. I'm 17 and I only wear makeup to dances and dates. Makeup should be fun, not an excuse to cover up what you really look like.

Unless you are allergic to the ingredients of a certain makeup or they clog your pores by not cleaning it off properly (this is why they make oil-free makeup and makeup removers!) then there shouldn't be any problems, so maybe your teacher was just trying to make you feel better?
Seriously, don't listen to those girls. If they wanna look nasty with all those layers of heavy makeup, then good for them, but you don't need to follow them just because they're pressuring you or taunting you. If YOU think that you should wear makeup (and if your parents agree) then I would try it out... but start out light! Like a very light brown eyeliner on your lower lash line and some clear lip gloss! Blush and lipstick aren't really appropriate for school (too dramatic!) so stay away from those... Also, foundations/concealers can get very cakey if you don't know how to apply it and blend it correctly, so you can practice in the privacy of your home or on the weekends and soon you'll get the hang of it and maybe in a year or so you can wear it to school, cake-free! :D
Good luck! (:

Wait 30 years and those girls will be the losers. They'll have wrinkles and their skin will age faster. Just because a lot of girls do it, doesn't mean it's right. It's really awkward to see a young girl that wear buckets of makeup. A little lip gloss is fine for your age but foundation, no need for that. At your age you probably have clear skin. Your teacher is right. Follow your teacher, she is much mature than those girls.

1. Its not WRONG...to at 12...but its abit pointless...
2. Kids are trying to grow up too fast.
3. Most girls look nicer natural.
4. Yeah i've heard it canmake wrinkles and spots/blackheads worse in future...
