Large pores + looks worse in natural light? helpp?

Postby parkinson » Sun Aug 15, 2010 1:34 pm

Hi,
I am lucky not to have a lot of acne and only breakout occasionally. But, I have very large pores that look really ugly and can't be hidden with makeup. My mom tells me this is a genetic thing and that theres nothing I can do about it..but i rly dont like it!! is there anything I can do?

Also,
I know you are supposed to do your makeup in natural light, but it still looks bad in natural light when I do (im talking like concealer, foundation etc) But, I rly like how it looks in like my bathroom lights. Helpp!

Facial Toner works to tighten and close large pores for a better appearance, so trying this could help you out. There are loads of brands you can try, so experiment and find one that you like :)
Also, not as good a method but cold water temporarily tightens pores, so after cleansing rinse you face with cold water and this could help too.

Good luck

Facial toner works pretty well. And makeup may actually be making it worse, because it clogs your pores and can make them bigger. Try using natural mineral makeup instead of think, goopy liquids and wash your face every night, if possible. Also, after you wash your face, you can try splashing it with cold water. Warm water opens pores, but cold water does the opposite and tightens them.

hope this helps (:
