Makeup help, advice appreciated?

Postby yardly » Thu Aug 12, 2010 6:44 am

Hello there :) my liquid foundation is getting quite low, and while I like the brand I got, it just wasn't the dream foundation I had hoped for. So, I'm turning to this site to ask the ladies out there:
1) What type of foundation do you use?
2)Do you like it? Why?
3) How much was it?
4) Do you like powders or liquid foundation more?
5) What would you recommend for me: I have somewhat oily skin, with just a little bit of acne. I'm not super pale, but my skin tone falls between pale and the "natural" tan color. I'd like some coverage, and all day wear, at an affordable price.

Thank you!

1) I use mark. Face Xpert Foundation in the color nude
2) Yes i like it because the color is perfect on my face, the make-up isn't heavy, but I don't like the packaging.
3) It costs 10.00
4) I like liquid foundation but I use powder to lock in the foundation
5) I would definitely suggest you watch the michelle phan video on youtube where she talks about foundations for different face types

I use both covergirl 'clean makeup' (the oil-control one) and Neutrogena SkinCLearing oil-free makeup. I like them both because my skin is a bit oily too and my dermatologist reccommended neutrogena because she said they're usually the best for your skin and it is, its light and airy as long as you dont cake it on. I don't remember how much it was. sorry. I like both powders and liquids but I like liquids more because I can dab it on and I get more coverage but with powders I have to smear it on and it makes my skin look dry and flaky. I recomment the nuetrogena SKinCLearing oil-free.
