Milk of Magnesia is a great primer to use only when you're using a liquid foundation. I have yet to hear of anyone using it with mineral make up successfully it will either flake out or rub off with uneven coverage. I have used it before and it does work really well for oily skin it lasted almost the whole day with minimal oil or shine. Usually people on this website aren't very helpful with make up questions and tips. I would suggest you look it up on websites such as YouTube, Makeupalley, that kind of thing. I am a big fan of using Youtube for all my make up questions. They have tutorials on how to use the product and reviews on how well they work. Maybe you should type in "mineral make up milk of magnesia" and see if you can find anything helpful on the subject. But as far as I know I haven't heard a way to make it hold successfully even with my own trial and error. :) Ha.
ALSO (almost forgot) you should pick up a pack of blotting tissues to keep in your purse so you can control the oil during the day. That always helps me a great deal whenever I'm using mineral makeup. :) Hope this helps.
