My baby is 7 weeks old and he has rash or acne on his face, heard neck and shoulders. Its redish and makes his skin very rough. When it first came out a couple of weeks ago, I consultated a nurse and she it was nothing but just dry skin. It has since gotten worse and now im worried. My baby doesnt seem to be bothered by it though. It looks really disturbing and it just wont go away.
Should I be worried?

lots of red angry looking pimples? Yup, normal. It's the hormone withdrawal rash most newborns get, mine had it something awful. :S

It is probably normal and will correct itself on its own and could even be eczema but to be on the safe side make sure your health visitor has a look when you see her/him again. In the meantime if the rash spreads or you are still worried then go straight to the doctors.

Its totally normal sweety !! my baby had acnee like urs from 3 weeks to about 8 week old . It bothered me more than her lol . So like the othr answer its all ur hormones coming out of her thats all . Dont put any lotion and wash her clothes with baby laundry soap and time will make it go away , just be patient
