I cannot find it any where :/ I can find body wash and body lotion with aloe vera extracts but not pure aloe vera gel. ( i bought a tiny tube from the beauty clinic and it was sooooo expensive cause i know they'll over charge but it therefore must exist)

I live in Kansas, which is notorious for incredibly hard water. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get my skin to be smooth and moisturized. After doing some research, I've realized we have terribly hard water. Unfortunately, I cannot afford a water softener, so I must try to find soap that works well with hard water. I was using Crest White Strips which is a bleaching agent and got one of the stripes on my lip. Now it's a dark pink mark. What's better for healing the lips ? Just leave it or use vitamin e body lotion ? Because the vitamin e body lotion has lots of different ingredients. Is that bad ?
