i've been using a hairspray that contains extra virgin olive oil and my hair has improved and feels hydrated, but i'm wondering about just pure extra virgin, instead of all the other stuff that goes in with it. will it help hair growth or help it be hydrated, and if so how much should i use?

I've searched for conditioner recipes, but all of them are the kind that you have to shampoo out. I would like a recipe that follows shampoo, but rinses out.

I have somewhat thick hair thats greasy at the roots and then dry at the ends. It does get some nice waves but they tend to fall out often so any products that will make the waves last and reduce frizz (while not making my hair greasy) would be sooooo appreciated!

I really love Aveda Dry Remedy because i have dry hair in the summer.

But all aveda shampoos and conditioners are great and they really do what they say they will (hyderate, repair, volumize, eliminate gold tones, ect)

I already know enough to know that long hair doesn't come instantly.
I want my hair to grow long naturally by September, hopefully.
My friend told me to use this Mane n' Tail shampoo but another one told me to use Long Distance Relationship by Herbal Essences...
