Hey Guys, i have recently skinned a large rat, and having done a pretty good job at keeing shape and such, i am wondering about preservation.

I have removed most of the fatty skin on the actual skin, and after having washed it and put shedloads of borax in, ther are still a few areas of fatty skin and few redish areas of skin aroudn the head.

Now i plan on keeping for a while ...

You didn't provide any background about what you are doing currently? If working somewhere, suggest to continue with them. Make sure your bosses know you are studying for the program so that you can find the support from them (believe me you will need that if you are working while studying)
