Try getting zip-lock baggie of baking soda, When you put you toothpaste on your brush dip it in the baggie and brush for a full 2 minutes. It might burn the first time but that's because you got rid of everything possible and wont be as bad the second and so on... and baking soda costs about a dollar.

Brush your teeth a lot and wait. You may just have to get your teeth whitened (like me) at the end of the braces stage.

i just got a small number of cavities filled at the dentist, and a small bar put in behind a few of my front teeth at the orthdontist to keep them perfectly straight after i got my braces off... any reason why any of these things would effect the whitening?

Well i read a magazine that said Catharine Zeta-Jones eats a lot if strawberries to lighten her teeth because apparently they contain malic acid which lightens surface stains :D x

I have braces, and i'm not getting them off for another 6 months. But my teeth are soooo not white at all! they are like a yellowish grayish color! i hate it, my teeth look disgusting no matter how many times I brush them. (and yes i do brush them 2-3 times everyday)
