Look at pictures online, print out the style you like, and hand it to the stylist. Not much to it. Trust me, they won't ask you much questions if you supply a sample of what you would like. Plus, they know guys don't know much about hair anyways. Don't be nervous, just make sure you go to a place that looks decent and friendly. My boyfriend would make me go with him for a haircut because he was nervous. Eventually the lady told us he could bring in a picture, so I wouldn't have to repeat the process for him.
