So I've never really been big into makeup but now I want to start trying more of it out and I have a few questions on foundation and concealer...

1. whats the purpose and difference between these two?
2. how do you apply them? (i want to hide some acne,blemishes and under eye circles)
3. are drugstore brands good? are there any that you guys would recommend?
4. do people usually apply both of them?
5. how do you do your makeup daily?

Foundation evens out your skin tone, and concealer is for covering spots or dark circles under eyes etc. Make sure your foundation matches your natural skin tone! For concealer..if it's for dark circles then I think you're supposed to choose one that is like 1-2 shades lighter.

You can use your fingers/sponge/makeup brush. I use a stippling brush for my liquid foundation. Drugstore brands can be just as good as the more expensive ones but without knowing what type you want.. I can't really recommend any :s

Well if I'm just going to uni or whatever after cleansing etc. and applying sunscreen, I'll mix my foundation with some moisturiser so the coverage is sheerer. I don't use concealer. Some eyebrow powder, and mascara and that's it.
