Recent loss, will doctors offer me any help or support?

i am wondering if there is anything at all doctors might do...on Tuesday i found out i "apparently" had an ectopic pregnancy, i have some doubt about the doctor who dignosed me but i was bullied into getting the injection that night, which left me crying, i discharged myself because i didn't want to be under their care, but the injection is already done and nothing i can do to stop that now, since then i am been feeling at my lowest point in my life, i put all my energy into not crying and not fallen apart, i have another child which idon't want suffering because of me so i made an appointment with my own doctor today to see if they will offer me anything or able to get me help and support, i don't want to leave this becuse i am getting worse as days go on.... do you think doctors will do something or will i be left to cope on my own?

I would advise you to look for a support group. Or even some grief therapy.

The loss of a pregnancy for any reason is devastating at best. But in this case you have to look at the facts. It's highly doubtful you would be able to see an etopic pregnancy to term. Either the pregnancy would have been self terminating or it cause you incredible damage and the possibility of never again having a child. And even be life threatening for you.

I am so sorry for your loss. But remember you did the right thing by terminating.

There must be some kind of grief support group in your area. When you go to the doctors tell them what is going on. Find a Mother's day out program for your child to go to for a little while which will give you some time for yourself so that you can find a professional to help you learn to cope with your loss. Go to your church and seek help there as well. You are in a very difficult place but there is help out there. Maybe your partner and/or family can help you find it as I know that you must be having a horrible time just existing right now but you really need the help in order to get through this. Please seek help where you can be with at least one person if not a group rather than on line as you really need human contact. God Bless and Good Luck!
