If you can run 2 miles and do 50 push ups and 50 sit ups non stop, you will be fine.
So start running 3 miles everyday, don't worry about speed.
Start doing sets of push ups and sit ups.
IE:
do 25 push ups, then 25 sit ups.
rest 3 mins
do 25 push ups and 25 sit ups
rest 3 mins
do 25 push ups and 25 sit ups
The next week, do 30 push ups and 30 sit ups in 3 sets
The 3rd week do 35 and 35
the 4th week do 40 and 40
Its ok if you cannot do all of them on the third set, just do as many as you can
