Soap Making? Help please?

Hi! I make and sell soap and body scrubs. For body scrubs, I do not use any preservatives. I use food-grade oils (sesame, coconut, etc.) and either essential oils or soap scents. As long as you are not using any type of fresh food in the scrub (like mashed avocado or what not), it should last as long as any cooking oil would last. One main thing to remember is not to introduce any water or soap into the container when using the scrub, and keep it tightly closed. This prevents any type of bacteria from growing. My scrubs are sold with tiny scoops to prevent any germs or bacteria from getting into the container. PET type bottles/containers are great, I order them from SKS, a packaging company.

You need to do more research on making soaps and such. Do a google search and you should get recipes or information to make it. I have a bunch of recipes but they are in a file cabinet in storage. I don't recall any having a shelf life.
