Hello! I will be trying to conceive late this year and have started taking prenatal vitamins. I have noticed some changes in my body, is this normal and what else can I expect? Thanks!
I honestly didn't think there were any side effects taking parental vitamins. The only thing I ever got while taking them is a sick belly if I didn't take them with food. They are full of all vitamins that are so good for you so there should be no side effects. The changes to you body are not because of taking the vitamins, there must be something else causing those.
There's nothing wrong with taking prenatals when you're not pregnant. They are just a multi-vitamin, specially formulated for the needs of pregnancy. It's actually a very smart idea to take them BEFORE you become pregnant.
When i took them before i got pregnant and during, they ALWAYS made me naseous. In fact i started taknig them this month and stopped bc i was naseous all the time and was confusing it with possibly pregnancy symptoms.
