Teeth whitening/sensitive teeth?

Postby fionnla » Tue Aug 03, 2010 3:34 pm

My teeth hurt for a few minutes after eating ice cream, but I want to whiten them. I've tried over the counter stuff, crest white Strips, etc. and nothing. I'm willing to pay a couple hundred bucks at the dentist, but do you think this could create problems? It's not like I need to eat much, I weigh only two pounds less than Mariah Carey, and she's quite the chunkster now.

Mix a paste consisting of baking soda and water and apply it to your teeth. Let it sit for ten minutes or so, but DO NOT SWALLOW IT. It's very effective in whiten your teeth!

Try Care+ hydrogen peroxide solution 6%. Swill it for 30 seconds or so with it diluted in water (a fifth or or a sixth of the solution in the water) and spit it out (don't swallow it). You can ask for it at the counter in the chemists and it's very cheap.
