Yes, fragrances do bother asthmatics so I don't wear any. I'm doing my best to take care of myself. What about you? Did you get rid of those kidney stones? What about the rest of you? I'd like to know how you are doing. Love Ya Leenie

The patchouli you got could have been one that hadn't aged properly. Put it back for a year or two and then try it. The hurricanes have destroyed much of the area where patchouli is typically harvested. A good patchouli now days is EXPENSIVE! The patchouli soap you have doesn't smell like patchouli to me at all. It smells like a blend that has a patchouli base note. I like the evergreen scents, rosemary, cedar, cypress. I also like a nice grapefruit mixed with clary sage, cypress and cedarwood. One of my all time favorites is rosemary and lavender. I like it heavier on the rosemary. A little sandalwood or patchouli (just a tiny smidge) will help the scent last longer. I used to work with a guy that smelled so good I just wanted to follow him around. When I started working with essential oils I realized that scent was mostly clary sage. I'm sure it had some undertones, but the sage was yummy!

use citrus rinds on your pulse points (lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit all smell wonderful!) and eat the fruit! also, cucumbers have a refreshing scent too. Mint is also a good one to rub on, and you can also eat that to freshen your breath. Patchouli usually smells like moldy wood, but mixes well with commercial scents like obsession. A cinnamon stick can be ground in your coffee grinder for a light powder you can dab on. I'm a huge fan of SOAP. Fresh out of the shower husband is the bestest smelling thing in the world!

I LOVE citrus scents, lime being my favorite. I do wonder about smelling of edibles. LOL!
