My b/f loves Patchouli! I have recently got some body oil too but it is rose scented. I swear..it smells just like the flower. Nothing like the old rose soap or fake smelling stuff. I don't wear much..just a hint. I'm not much into wearing scents all the time.

I have rose oil, my granny used to wear it. I love that, but not all the time. I'd like to mix it a bit.

Ho Irish, I'm not much of a perfume wearer but I do like white Musk and Estelle Lauder, I only use it when I am going out to special occasions, my hubby has his own aftershame and I do like it but don't know the name of them. Tamara

The Scent of a Woman.............or Man....... ;)

I have a very sensitive nose and to top it off I'm extremely sensitive to chemicals as well. I had to stop using perfumes, many years ago as they would break me out, or I could only wear them spritzed on my hair. I noticed that, now, chemical perfumes are VERY noticable to me and VERY unappealing. It's as if I can't get past the chemical smell, they just smell...well...manufactured. So...I started wearing essential oils instead, they don't break me out and I've a few that are my favorites. I really loved the scent of Patchouli, but the last 2 bottles that I bought stunk! I really think something was wrong with them because they just do NOT smell like I am used to. I have natural patchouli soap and a body cream that smell lovely. I'm really thinking I got 2 bum bottles. Now...all that to say, I'm interested in exploring new scents. I don't like powdery or really sweet smells. But without going to a perfumery, who mixes oils, I'm a bit limited. I'm wondering what scents might mix well together...what should I try? Any suggestions? Are you familiar with essential oils? What scent do you like on your woman?(be nice) For the ladies, what scent do you like on your man? Are you someone who appreciates a good fragrance or does that not entice you? I get compliments, all the time, on patchouli, but I have to say it's mostly women that like it. LOL! Help a gal out, would ya?
