Hey Irish! I love patchouli too! But, you are right that you can buy some that stink! They don't all smell the same for some reasons and I know that for a fact! I have made that mistake myself! I love Essence Oils and have bought some that just weren't quite right! I have a few perfumes that I love but of course they are really expensive! My bf bought be Dolce & Gabana "Light Blue" for Christmas! It smells heavenly, but doesn't stay on me for long, but when I smell it on other women it is so nice! (Not that I like smelling other women!) I also like "Knowing" and "Pleasure" by Estee Lauder! Those are my favs! As for men, my bf has a whole bunch! Some I like, some I hate! I love Hugo Boss, Sean John "Unforgiveable" and something else that I can't remember! I hate "Burberry Brit" and he just loves that one! He really is into very expensive colognes like I like my perfumes! Except I can't afford mine anymore since I'm not working!

hey there irish:) ya know my sister is the exact same way as you..she cant stand any kind of smells even the air fresheners,,she just cant handle it,and my other friend,she uses the same as you that Patchouli,me personally it smells ok..but i dont really like it much..for some reason it reminds me of something or one bad in my past..i just cant place a face or place..but your right alot of women love it.i hope i didnt offend u at all saying i dont..:( but my fav for myself is Amber Crombis and Fitches "8" perfume..OMGGG!!! it is the best scent i have ever smelled in my life!!!!!! have u ever smelled it? its just breath taking..And as for my men..one smell i hate is Polo..i think its just nastyyyy lol..or maybe cause a guy i dated used way too much.but then again i smelled teh bottle and just ewww..but dont laugh..(ok u can a little lol) i LOVVVVE the smell of that Old Spice High Endurance deoderant lol..the sport is the best..!!! And i also love Eternity cologne..its just mmmmm!! meoowwww!!! lol..ight well have a good one!! april

"Shrugs" I'm a guy. I don't wear anything but deodorant and whatever cologne people buy me for Christmas. lol As for women, I don't like stuff that is too strong because I have a sensitive nose and will get congested really bad. I don't compliment women on their smell unless I know them. Complimenting a stranger on their scent creeps women out,

Yep, maybe that is why my hubby loves it so much..makes us smell almost like a sugar cookie...And they do say a way to a mans heart is through his stomach..well in that case it would be through his......um..nose..

My wife has lots of the 'expensive' ones, but she is good, and waits 'til we go on holiday and saves a fortune by getting them duty free. Prada, Gucci are ones that I can remember the names of. Even the bottles look expensive! Me? I love Tester, available from any leading department store. :)

Of course I spritz myself in the stores. What's wrong with that? I get to try out all the new flavours and it cost nothing. You prefer men to smell sweaty? huh :o
