Use the lowest percentage but you must use the same amount of water. Don't just rinse with the peroxide.

You should never use hydrogen peroxide as it is to whiten teeth. The trouble is it will kill the good bacteria in your mouth as well as the bad and can stop the functioning of the saliva glands which is quite important to the balance of your mouth. You can also "burn" your mouth with the chemicals and it really DOESN'T help whiten the teeth anyway.

I had a friend who had heard this too and tried it. The results were not good! Let's just say he could only eat thin soups via a straw for at least 2 weeks after trying it.
