I like the name Lily or Lila maybe?

They have different orgins of names and the meanings of them that can surely help the process of picking out the perfect name.

If you're an aspiring writer, at least 90% of the effort is up to you, including the related research (ethnic background, etc.) and names of your characters and especially a title. I suggest you go on some name sites and do the research yourself.

Changing Winds- His life is changing directions.

The Widows Pain- Same theory as Painful Journey

An Artists Journey- His life story as you made out.

Inpenetrable- Maybe incorporate that he keeps his emotions to himself no matter how painful his emotions are but when he adopts the child he begins to open up.
